CR-10 Mod - X Belt straightener - Tensioner Side
cults3d
I review my classic X belt tensioner, now improved with the added feature of a belt straightener. The OEM machine struggles to handle inclined belts due to its flawed design of the X bridge. My goal for this mod is twofold: I aim to enhance the precision of the machine and reduce the need to calibrate e-steps for varying print dimensions. To accomplish this, you'll need the following materials: 1. An idler pulley GT2 20T with a 5mm bore 2. An idler pulley GT2 16T with a 3mm bore 3. A screw M5 measuring 20mm in length 4. A screw M3 measuring 25mm in length A longer GT2 belt than the OEM is required for this mod. This modification should work seamlessly alongside: CR-10 Mod - X Belt straightener - Motor Side This refers to the idle pulley on the motor side. Enjoy your upgraded machine!
