CR-10 Micro Swiss All Metal High Clearance 5015 Fan Fang Cooling Duct Remix

TLDR: This design accommodates the Micro Swiss block, reinforces arms holding the 5015 fan, supports gantry mounting point, redirects cooling fan for improved cooling, and features a cutout for heat brake set screw access. Print from materials like nylon or ABS that can withstand higher temperatures than PLA or PET. New screws are required to secure everything back onto the gantry plate. I'm still chuckling at the name of this part - it's what happens when remixing a remix of another remix. I'm a huge fan of Fang cooling duct design, which was one of my first upgrades for my CR-10. This part specifically targets the all-metal Micro Swiss assembly. It turns out Micro Swiss cut their extruder block differently than Creality; there's a picture showing the differences above. I used OEM High Clearance Fang for a long time and now that the new extruder can reach higher temperatures, a more powerful cooling fan is necessary. The stock filament fan isn't sufficient when printing PLA at 240c at 75 mm/s. Before seeing the block wouldn't fit, I broke part of the fan holder while removing supports from GaminGit's 5015 Fang Mod. I went back and reinforced problem areas where the part attaches to the printer gantry bracket and arms holding the 5015 fan. I also altered airflow around the extruder block to minimize air hitting the bowden tube attachment at the top and back on the block itself, keeping it as cool as possible. Finally, I added a cutout on the bottom for access to the set screw that holds the heat brake in place. You'll probably want to print with nylon or ABS or something with high temperature resistance.
