Poor man's DDX mount for CR10S Pro series printers and CR10 Max.The only permanant modification to the printer is the drilling of a pair of 3 mm holes in the shelf of the printer's X carriage and the BMG mount is designed to act as a drilling jig to accurately place the holes. The mount also has provisions for strain relief. The BMG and stepper assembly is secured to the mount using M3 threaded rod sections cut to length at 60 mm and M3 nuts. The mount is secured to the shelf using M3x20 mm screws and nutsThe support for the PTFE connector is attached in the place where the original extruder was, the horizontal hole needs to be threaded to M6 and a Mk8 heatbreak used with a M6 lock nut and a M6 stud connector. Also a hole is reserved for mounting a length of carbonfiber or fiberglass rod to prevent the cables and PTFE tube from sagging. The support is mounted with 4 M3x6 mm screws. The addition of the BMG type extruder will require changing the steps/mm to 415. there are multiple ways to achieve this (lots of guides on the Internet on using Pronterface or via G-code). Print SettingsPrinter Brand:CrealityPrinter: Ender 5Rafts:NoSupports: NoResolution:200Infill: 100Filament: Generic PETG Black   Category: 3D Printer Parts
