CR-10 M6 hex screw remix of X-Axis Belt Tensioner
thingiverse
I'm grateful for jneilliii's outstanding x-axis belt tensioner creation. Initially, I was facing a challenge as I didn't possess a hex head M5 screw, and I certainly wasn't about to go purchase one. Using Tinkercad, I successfully reworked the knob and puller so that a M6 hex head screw and nut could be utilized instead. Furthermore, I widened the puller in order for the original bearing to fit comfortably. Unfortunately, my initial attempt at using the original part resulted in it breaking multiple times. Fortunately, my revised design solved this issue effectively. The bushing was slightly too long; therefore, I reduced its height from 11mm to 10.2mm. To assemble the tensioner, you will still need to acquire the endcap and bracket_offset parts created by jneilliii. On my CR-10 printer, the original belt functions flawlessly without requiring removal from the carriage in order to mount the tensioner.
