Simple LED Bar for CR-10 Uses Affordable Ikea Dioder Light Bar Kit. Snap and interference fit make assembly easy. To secure the light bars in place, I used electrical tape; however, double-sided tape or hot glue would be better options if you want to design a permanent fixture (electrical tape works fine). The standoffs provide ample space for full 400mm Z travel. To conceal the power wire, I routed it under the orange trim piece. To accomplish this, I removed the trim from the front uprights and repurposed it. Dioder emits soft white light, which might not be bright enough for some users. A simple solution is to print a mounting plate and install it in place of Dioders; you can then attach any LED light ribbon using tape or glue (I didn't provide a design for this).
