This set of holders is designed to securely fasten the IKEA Lots mirror in place while allowing for a 4mm-5mm layer of cork insulation underneath the bed. The cork insulation ensures that the bed temperature remains consistent across its entire surface, and also helps maintain heat longer when printing another item immediately. To secure the cork sheet in place, attach it to the underside of the bed using high-temperature tape or glue. To assemble the parts, align them as shown in the diagram since any breakage will occur along the horizontal plane of the part. This design choice minimizes potential weaknesses along layer lines, which are typically the most prone to failure in printed objects. For optimal results, it's recommended to use ABS or PC-ABS blend materials for printing, as they can withstand high bed temperatures that may approach or exceed PETG and PLA glass transition points.
