CR-10 Hot End Wire Strain Relief Bracket

If you're like me, you've probably battled with frayed or loose crimps on your CR-10's hot end heater core. The crimps can come undone, causing your hot end to fail in reaching temperature requirements. This problem often arises from repeated heat cycling combined with continuous motion as the hot end traverses the x-axis. Prolonged stress weakens the wires over time. This bracket attaches between the print cooling fan and the hot end housing using standard screws. A spare zip tie will suffice, but one should be made of small caliber to prevent any obstruction. Mount the bracket securely with standard screws before pre-loading the wires slightly by pressing them downward into the housing. This ensures that the crimping experiences minimal motion, thereby reducing the likelihood of fatigue.
