** I sold my CR-10S, so I will no longer be developing or revising these files.** Modeled specifically for my Creality CR-10S, with dimensions of 300x300x400. Most frame stiffener brace kits utilize 8mm all-thread or specialty tube and glue-in inserts. Since metric all-thread is not readily available in my small town in the USA, I developed this kit using 5/16-18 UNC all-thread instead. You will also notice that both hex nuts are hidden inside printed parts for a cleaner appearance. When assembling each side, be aware that if your rod length is slightly off, you may need to remove one of the hidden nuts and rotate it by one-sixth turn to achieve perfect alignment with the slots in the extruded rails. The required components include: (2) Upper Frame Braces (printed) (2) Lower Frame Braces (printed) (2) 5/16-18 UNC all-thread rods, each measuring 24 inches (8) 5/16-18 UNC hex nuts with a 1/2-inch across-flats dimension (4) M3 x 20mm long socket head screws (12) M3 x 10mm long socket head screws (or 12mm as a substitute, which I used) (16) M3 hex nuts (16) M3 hammer head nuts for 2020 aluminum extrusion You can print hammer head nuts using the file located at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2469130 I created "frame_brace_kit.stl," which contains all four braces in the correct orientation for printing. These models are identical to the original individual files. Initially, I was missing 12mm long socket head screws but had 10mm ones instead. To accommodate this, I printed quick 2mm spacers so that the screws wouldn't bottom out. Lesson learned: always count and measure your screws before creating CAD models and printing them. This kit slightly reduces the maximum printing height. Edit: It reduced my total height by 7mm and also reduced my total width by 10mm when the gantry is over 310mm on the Z-axis. Since I don't print large max dimension boxes, this reduction is not an issue for me. To further enhance appearance, I wrapped the all-thread in black electrical tape.
