Cr-10 Frame Brace
thingiverse
EDIT: added a version that uses M5x10mm bolts. This is a Cr-10 frame brace that I designed with truss-style in mind. My goal was to create a printer support system that would prevent ghosting and look great, making it perfect for use with the ever popular braces by RebelRousingProps (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2123233), or on its own. There are two STL files available. The only difference between them is that one has been filleted. To my knowledge, there are no differences in stiffness, so it's primarily a style variation. PRINTING: Print the brace upright on its side. There should be no issues, as the steepest angle is 45 degrees. A small amount of bridging must be done, but I didn't encounter any problems with it. I used PLA because it provides excellent stiffness. HARDWARE: All you need are four M5x10mm bolts and T nuts to complete the installation. Happy printing!
