CR-10 Filament guide - No Squeak - Paper Clip Verison
thingiverse
I reworked the filament guide to ensure my filament doesn't screech or scratch against the guide during retraction. Other guides I've tried were extremely loud and damaged my filament badly. That's why I added a paperclip version, which uses a paperclip to steer the filament. The steps are straightforward: print as shown above, cut a paper clip, slide it in, bend it however you like, and snap it into place. This guide also holds exceptionally well. To address potential issues with Z rod alignment, I enlarged the hole so that if your Z rod is slightly off-center, it won't get blocked. Now, there's no screeching and no scratching!
