I assembled a custom light mount for my CR-10 Fang 3D printer. A sturdy 25mm M3 screw secures both the fan and the light assembly to the fang's structure. To create the illumination system, I soldered two LED strips together and connected them directly to the extruder fan's power source. This clever setup ensures that the lights turn on whenever the main power is engaged. Following the photo shoot, I took extra precautions by covering the solder joints with electrical tape and reinforcing the connections with super glue as well as utilizing the built-in adhesive backing of the LED strips.
