I set about designing this Dual Fang after printing a few others out, and one thing I realized is that they all share one thing - or the ones I printed did: they all attach using the hot end screws. My design does not; it attaches directly to the hot end backplate using the original mounting holes for the metal cover that came on the printer, hooking around the side. This way, I've been able to attach the fans and fangs without touching the hot end at all. The fans are stock 40mm fans. All you need is one of the original screws from the casing and one that's twice as long, which screws in from the back. I got that one from an odds-and-ends box I have; not sure of the size, but it's easy enough to get. I've printed a few out and tweaked the design, think I pretty much have it down now, but please let me know if you come across something I missed. The clip has been left a snug fit on purpose, but can be opened with a bit of sandpaper if needed; depends on your printer, I suppose. More designs are coming for different fan setups - currently working on ones for the 5015 blower fan and Noctua NF A4X20 FLX Silent Fan 40 mm. Tips are appreciated.
