CR-10 / Ender Hotend Cover For 5015 Blower
thingiverse
PLEASE READ: THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS First off, the design is meant to hold the 5015 fan in place without screws, requiring a tighter fit than screw-held hotend covers. Take caution during installation, as the fan may feel difficult to snap into place, and be extra careful when removing it. I've managed to unclip my fans from the front side, but with great care. I'd appreciate feedback to improve any issues you may encounter, and one day remove the W.I.P. label from the title. Thanks for reading on! For stock fans only, go here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2879538 This design may not fit your 5015 blower/fan! Print the "5015 Fan Fit" test part first to determine if it will work with your fan. This small part answers questions about compatibility and helps identify any issues. If the test piece doesn't fit, please provide dimensions or other helpful information to aid in creating a version that fits. If you've printed the test piece and are ready for the full design, proceed: I created this part to print upside down with ease, eliminating the need for screws to hold the 5015 fan. I'm using it on my CR-10S without issues and will continue to modify it to reduce weight, improve aesthetics, and enhance performance. An STL file is included for a small clip that snaps onto the 5015 fan, holding the bowden tube in place and preventing it from shifting unexpectedly. I recommend using this clip to avoid potential problems. This hotend/fan housing directs cooling where needed, ensuring symmetry and reducing unnecessary heat block cooling.
