I've been relying on this setup for 6 months now without encountering any problems on my CR-10. The prints were made using MakerGeeks Raptor PLA filament. To cool the hotend, I utilized the old CR-10 part cooling fan. I didn't take sufficient time to optimize this design for printing, which is why it requires supports. Removing these supports from inside the fan duct can be a labor-intensive process.
