CR-10 E3D-V6 Mount

thingiverse

This is an E3D V6 mount that I designed specifically for the Creality CR10. I found the existing mounts to be too wobbly, so I decided to create a compact, simple, and sturdy alternative. To ensure stability, I've included supports that need to be detached after printing. You'll require 2 M3x10 (or M3x12) socket head screws (pan head screws won't fit!) and matching hex nuts. You can expect to lose some Z height with this modification, and your nozzle will sit lower than stock or other mounts. However, I believe the trade-off is worthwhile considering the CR10's large Z height. Note: On April 18, 2017, I revised my initial design to make the parts stronger and easier to work with. They also have improved supports for better stability. To print successfully, use the flat back down. I've uploaded an STL file containing both parts. Print Settings: Printer: Creality CR-10 Rafts: Not necessary Supports: No Resolution: 0.24 mm Infill: 60% Notes: This part was printed in PLA. ABS would likely have been a better choice, but I had PLA loaded and wanted the print to be black.
