CR-10 E3D V6 dual Extruder mount Mesh
thingiverse
I've combined these E3D V6 dual extruder mounts from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2182924 & https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2274499 to suit my needs. This mount has a dual extruder setup with one filament cooler and, once both E3D V6 are installed, it's about the same height as the original CR-10 Extruder. The Hotend Coolers come from this source: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:354723, but were redesigned for M3 screws to fit my stock 40mm FAN of the CR-10. Note that these coolers must be attached to the E3D V6 before mounting them to the CR-10 and that the left hotend cooler is a little bit off center. Thanks to the creators of these three designs. Please make sure both hotends are at the same height so they don't interfere with the bed. The first extruder should be on the right side, while the second one is on the left. To set the offset for the second extruder, type in the terminal: M218 T0 X0.0 Y0.0 (to set extruder 0 to x0 and y0) M218 T1 X-33.5 Y0.8 (to set the extruder 1 offset) M500 (to save the settings) Start printing, then adjust the settings if they don't fit your mount. This also works on the fly, so remember to save with command M500. Parts needed: 1x 50mm x 15mm Blower Fan 1x M3 x 20mm Socket Head Bolt (For the Blower Fan) 2x M3 x 10mm Socket Head Bolts (Use treadlock glue for the extruder carrier) 1x M3 Nut (Nylon nuts are a good choice in my opinion) 4x Metal Screws for the top mount brackets 8x M3 x 40mm for the two Hotend Coolers
