CR-10 Dual Z timing belt sync brackets v2
thingiverse
Update: I've discovered that this mod still causes the top of the z-screw to bind. To resolve this issue, I designed a new version from scratch using skateboard bearings with ample clearance to prevent binding - check it out here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3532138. This remix is based on the Dual Z Timing Belt Sync Bracket by hoegge, but I made some key changes to improve performance. Specifically, I elongated the hole for the bearing, allowing it to move perpendicular to the z extrusion and providing play in the spacing between the z extrusion and the z screw. This was necessary because the original design pushed my z-screw too far from the z extrusion at the top, causing binding as the x gantry moved higher. It's possible that this is a machine-specific issue due to a bent or misaligned z-screw, but it appears that the original brackets are simply too far out. The rest of the design remains the same as hoegge's original - I've retained the two 20-tooth GT2 pulleys with an 8mm bore to fit the lead screw and a 76 cm GT2 timing belt between the two Z lead screws.
