Update 04/07/2019: The fan is polished, and ABL has been added. I am working on a new project that improves upon this one. New updates are coming. Update 01/31/2019: I was asked by a user to add some lower holders for people who have trouble with height issues. The original was left intact for everyone else, and I added it 1mm and 2mm lower in case some hotends cannot reach the bed. Update 01/16/2019: The parts are better polished for printing purposes, and a BLTouch has been added for bed leveling. A tutorial on using BLTouch will be included at the end of this instructable. You can use the Volcano extender for the Volcano hotend if you want to print faster volumes. Update 08/18/2018: I changed the hanger and moved the BLTouch fan closer to the hot end in order to make the BLTouch work effectively. Check my instructable for guidance. Update 05/08/2018: A GoPro mount has been added to the fans. The reason behind this is not for recording purposes, but as a more precise way to check if the printer is printing correctly. Now I am able to see the tip and determine if the nozzle is printing properly from far away. Note: This part can be used for anything you desire, you can create your own part for this section. Update 04/09/18: Some changes have been made to the extruder, with the hotends moved a little closer (22.79 mm to be exact, make sure you change the firmware setting) and the tool 0 moved back to its original location as the CR-10. This way you have one nozzle that can reach each end of the bed, eliminating the need for leaving space around the edge. Update 04/02/18: Hi everyone, I was able to add a tutorial with hardware and software for the upgrade. Please check it out and ask some questions. https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Upgrade-CR-10-From-Single-Extruder-to-Dual-/ Hi everyone, I decided to share my idea of a dual V6 extruder. The way I was able to put two of them without any issues with nozzle height was by using a screw that controls the rotary movement of the nozzle holder, allowing for precise height between the two nozzles. Please be kind and leave a message if you have any ideas for improvement.
