CR-10 Dual extruder drive motor connector
thingiverse
While setting up my [CR-10 Dual V6 extruder](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2777673) by jaimefriasjr, I ended up with an extra extruder driver motor in need of a spot on my CR-10 frame. I decided to mount it on the z-carriage on the same side as the existing extruder driver and this is what happened. I utilized the reverse engineered [CR-10 model by WickedFog](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2595982) and expanded upon the original extruder driver connector design to accommodate two driver motors. I relocated the original motor 5 mm so that the filament is a bit further away from the z-axis rod, which in the original design was touching the rod. I added reinforcement to the modified overhang because it has to handle extra weight, a changed center of mass and different material. I also added a structure to the side that attaches to the CR-10 since rigidity is essential as it keeps the 3 rollers in place. I trimmed off some of the top so that you can print it upside down with minimal overhang.
