Cr-10 Direct Drive Modified for wire management and filament sensor
thingiverse
I revised the STL file, making space for the filament feeder switch to be pressed and reinforced the supporting bar's thickness. After deleting the outdated files, I modified the direct drive after printing it, only to encounter issues that required cutting the wrap-around square to allow filament feeding. Do not attempt to print this yet. Upon further inspection, I realized the Wrap-around Square would obstruct the filament press lever from being pressed down. You'll need to cut out space in the back for the lever to be depressed. I've now eliminated all quirks from this file and haven't tested its compatibility with the filament sensor. This is a second iteration aimed at strengthening it, while also keeping wires vertical and well-protected. A 1/16 drill tap and an M2 8 mm screw might come in handy for securing the filament sensor more effectively. I transformed the first file into the third one to provide sufficient room for the filament pedal when adding filament.
