This is a mount for the CR10 or CR10s (compatible with other Creality printers) to level the build plate using a dial indicator. The dial indicator used was a Grizzly model, part number 232847, which can be found at Harbor Freight for under $20. It leverages the original threaded holes from the OEM fan shroud and the original machine screws that held the shroud in place.
