CR-10 / CR-10s E3dV6 & Hexagon 30mm fan mount
thingiverse
Magenta, E3D v6 and the Hexagon extruders are both top-notch extruders. I wanted to design a base with some fans so I can use them with my CR-10. Both of them have the same upper diameter but different heights. I designed the base in such a way that you only need to change the back holder to mount the two extruders. I contacted several experts and experimented with 30mm and 40mm fans (single and double) and found no differences in print quality between the two sizes, so I went with the 30mm fans since I like things to be minimalist. The clearances of this model are tight. You may need to open the holes a bit with a drill bit. You will need: 2 x M3 - 7mm Hex socket head cap screws 2 x M3 - 25mm Hex socket head cap screws 4 x M3 - Hex nuts 2 x M2.5 - 12mm Hex socket head cap screws 2 x M2.5 - 15mm Hex socket head cap screws With this setup, the nozzle at Home position is approximately 2mm out of the bed in Y.
