I recently designed a new fan duct to accommodate the Volcano heater block upgrade for your CR-10/CR-10S printer. The height difference from the stock V6 on the Titan Aero is approximately 9mm, which I determined using E3D drawings and a GrabCAD step file (credit: Thijs Tigelaar). Your feedback on this design is appreciated! This mount is my second attempt to create a specific CR-10/CR-10S printer mount that allows for an E3D Titan Aero Extruder assembly, TH3D EZABL sensor, and 50mm blower fan installation. However, it will only work with a 25mm length NEMA 17 stepper motor; any larger motor may require redesigning the mount due to clashes with the EZABL sensor. The mount consists of three separate components that require specific printing constraints: Extruder, Plate, and Rear components. The Extruder component must be placed vertically with the EZABL hole on the build plate, requiring no raft and optional supports for the motor mount hole; post-finishing may be necessary depending on print settings. The Mount, Fan, and Duct components should be placed vertically on the build plate as well, without a raft and with supports for overhang extruded holes. The Fan, Blower, and Duct component should be flush on the build plate, avoiding supports inside the duct area except for the slot at the front of the duct where the blower fan will go; use high-temperature resistant materials like PETG, Nylon, or ABS due to proximity to the hotend heater block. For printing, I recommend using PLA/PETG 1.75mm filament with a nozzle diameter of 0.40mm, an extrusion multiplier of 0.95, and an extrusion width of 0.35mm. Primary layer height should be set to 0.25mm, with three top/bottom solid layers, two outline shells, and a 10% infill rate. Print at temperatures of 210C for the extruder and 50C for the bed, set a fan speed of 100% after the first layer, and print at a speed of 60mm/s. To center the mount properly, apply the following offsets: X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER = -65, Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER = -20, and Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER = 0.
