CR-10 | CR-10S | BondTech BMG + E3D V6 + EZABL Mount Assembly

This new mount assembly aims to restore full use of the CR-10/CR-10S build area. The previous design had limited space due to which nearly 15-20mm in X and Y were lost. However, this redesigned unit fits closer to the stock CR-10 extruder assembly to regain that area back. Additionally, the Z-Axis will improve as the E3D hotend will be nearer to the bottom of the X-Axis carriage compared to the stock assembly. Only a few parts and hardware are needed for this project. The required components include: Extruder mount screws for Bondtech assembly, six M4x0.7mm x 22mm long screws for blower fan and hotend cooling fan mounts, Noctua 40mm Fan (NF-A4x10 FLX), 50mm x 50mm blower fans, EZABL Sensor, a small Nema 17 stepper motor, and wires. The assembly process involves attaching the Bondtech Extruder Carriage to the CR-10 X-axis carriage, followed by installing the blower fan, blower fan duct, and angle brace. The stepper motor and BondTech extruder are then mounted on the mount to complete the setup. It is essential to orient the heat block towards the front of the mount and position the thermistor/heater cartridge wires towards the Bondtech assembly side. Suggested high-temperature resistant materials for this assembly include PETG, Nylon, and ABS. It is advised to use rafts on both parts to prevent warping while printing. The Blower Fan Mount requires supports only under the first portion of the duct. Marlin firmware settings are required for adjusting the EZABL sensor position.
