CR-10 chain link bowden and cable support
thingiverse
I designed a custom chain-link style support assembly for my Bowden tube and cable bundle, ensuring they move freely without sagging or rubbing against the gantry during prints. The slotted design accommodates skinny Velcro strips or zip ties, keeping everything secure. By bundling the Bowden tube, cables, and EZABL cord together, I found that they were just heavy enough to droop below the gantry and get dragged back and forth with each print movement. To resolve this issue, I created a chain-link style support in Blender, anchoring it to the extruder and attaching the bundle using Velcro strips. This setup allows for smooth xy movement while keeping the z-axis stable.
