CR-10 Cat - Solid
thingiverse
The original STL was hollow, which meant the printer had to print external perimeters that were then hidden inside the object, causing an increase in print time with no benefit and making the cat's neck a bit too fragile. This was because the inner and outer shells were so close that the slicer didn't generate enough solid perimeters. I removed the hidden shells in Meshmixer and saved only the main outer shell. I also reoriented it correctly, which should make it visually identical to the original. However, the file is huge, but it's a nice round object that I didn't want to ruin by remeshing it smaller.
