CR-10 Belt Tensioner
thingiverse
I don't like the notches Creality use to attach the bed to the GT2 X belt; they have sharp edges, and damage the belts if tightened up. I've also modded my printer in such a way that I'm unable to use the regular belt tensioner. To solve both issues, I've created this bracket / tensioner thing. It's designed to take M3 nuts and screws. You print two of them, one of which you attach to the bed using the v-groove wheel screws. The other is left floating. The screws are then used to adjust tension. So far, it's been working a treat. Make sure to print in something other than PLA, since it's really close to the bed. The one change that I would make for Rev2 would be to set the belt hole lower, so that the belt forms a more parallel shape. Right now it seems OK, but it's probably worth doing.
