cr-10 anti vibration feet
thingiverse
I designed these anti-vibration feet for my CR-10 to reduce its noise level significantly. I included two versions: a thick one and a thin one, plus a smaller set for the control box. However, I have yet to test the thick version. These feet must be printed with TPU in order to function properly - PLA, PETG, or ABS will not work. To make them effective, they need to be made from TPU to absorb vibrations effectively. I printed these anti-vibration feet at 100% infill using TPU. Once they were printed, I cut out disks of foam from the white packaging material that came with my CR-10. Next, I removed the original feet on my CR-10 and screwed in the new ones. After screwing in one of the new feet, I packed it with a foam disk to ensure the foam fits snugly inside. These anti-vibration feet have greatly reduced noise on my printer, but now most of the noise comes from the fans.
