I remixed rc101s remix of Joey99's Adjustable Z-stop. Wheel is the same. Base mount can now be printed without supports Sensor mount is changed to fit the base mount. Stop Human Trafficking Stop Title IV-D Live long and prosper Below is there comments remixer rc101 : Summary I remixed this from Joey99's Adjustable Z-stop, thanks!! : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2456687. I couldn't get his design to work properly so I made some new changes to make things work. Here are some of the improvements made: Separated the model into individual pieces for easier printing Remodeled adjustment knob to include a M3 hex nut to eliminate the use of glue Remodeled sensor mount block to include a M3 hex nut to prevent striping of plastic Remodeled sensor mount block can now also use a M3x30 screw Kept original base mount the same Included a more loose tolerance sensor mount block just in case the other one is binding or you are printing with ABS due to shrinking. Things you will need are still the same with one additional M3 hex nut: 1 x M3 x 25mm hex screw or (1 x M3 x 30 hex screw) 2 x M3 hex nut Your stock screws and nuts for mounting sensor to mount and to frame No glue or rubber o-ring is needed. Make sure to chase all screw holes with the screw first before full assembly. This will prevent binding with the hex nut in the sensor mount. Again, thanks goes out to Joey99 for the original design!!! If you do make one, please post pictures and comments for future improvements if needed. Update 03-01-2019 Removed very top mounting holes for sensor block (not stable) Fixed cutout for solder pins for sensor block Removed old version Update 09-28-2018 Added additional mounting holes to sensor block Removed old model version Bottom set of holes are default mounting holes. See older picture with white block Update 12-22-2017 Uploaded improved tolerances for PLA printing for both turning knob and center block Removed old versions Update 09-15-2017: Increased the thickness of turning knob to remove gap/play on downward movement of sensor block ( original thickness from Joey99's was a bit too small and I modeled v1 after that) Removed version 1 of turning knob and added version 2. Print Settings Printer: FLSUN Delta Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 mm Infill: 30% Notes: I used my delta to print this with ABS since my CR-10 enclosure is unfinished for ABS printing. This should work with PLA. Do not add supports in the hex nut cutout in the sensor block since it only has a very small overhang during printing. originator joey99 : Summary Straight replacement to add an adjustable z-stop to the Creality CR-10. Things you will need: 1 x M3 x 25mm hex screw 1 x M3 nut 1 x 10-11mm rubber o-ring that will sit on top of the dial to make it stay in position It's a good idea to superglue the nut as well as the screw in place. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: Yes
