The z-endstop makes precise bed height adjustments effortless. This setup allows for small adjustments and selecting a height where the corner screws' springs work optimally. You can move back the y-endstop to adjust it, which I had to do about 5mm to center my bed. Although adjusting it is a bit challenging, precision isn't necessary. To install the z-endstop, you'll need an M4 locknut and a 30mm M4 screw. Although I only had a 20mm M4 screw, it still worked. You'll also need an extra T-nut and M3 or M4 screw for the switch bracket; my printer came with extras that were suitable. The y-endstop doesn't require any new hardware. My CR-10 40S printer is what I'm working on.
