I installed this awesome accessory by member graham01 and was blown away by its potential, but I encountered a major issue - I couldn't see the extruder gear or filament, especially when loading the filament. More often than not, I would forget to pass the filament through the guide in the Extruder cover. As a result, I had to unload the filament, reload it again, and that was impractical, especially after printing had started! I decided to modify this part with a few features to make it more usable. The semi-circular windows on top give me better visibility of the filament and extruder gear when loading the filament. The slots in the cover allow me to slip the filament into the guide while the cover is on, even if printing is in progress! These modifications have no negative impact on how the filament is guided into the extruder and make it easier to load the filament at the same time.
