CPU Heatsink Adapter For LGA1150 Motherboard And AM3/AM3+ Heatsink

**Update**: I've been using this thing for 5 months now and it worked perfectly even after moving from California to Colorado without a hitch. This thing has been thoroughly proven. I upgraded from an AMD Phenom 1055t (socket AM3) to an Intel i7 4770 (socket LGA1150) and I wanted to reuse my old heatsink on the new system. My problem was that the heatsink and bracket from AM3 were not compatible with LGA 1150. The heatsink I used is (I think) the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, but it's the style with a latch/lever handle thing. This design solves that problem. It was designed from scratch and includes the step file for you to measure or modify if needed. The 1.2mm spacers might not be necessary, but I used one under each leg. Adding more spacers will loosen the contact on the CPU. You should use them if you feel like you're applying too much force on the tightening latch when attaching the heatsink. I recommend using ABS for heat resistance. PETG would probably work fine. Don't even think about using PLA!
