I whipped up another CPU fan cover. I put Prime95 through its paces with a stress test, monitoring the temperatures. No cover: 94 degrees Celsius With cover: 95 degrees Celsius Don't take my word for it - run your own tests! I used HWMonitor to keep an eye on the temps and gave it a 10-minute workout. As for long-term implications, I'm curious about how it will hold up - specifically, whether the PLA material will warp over time. Only time will tell.
