Cutting Out Polymer Clay for Molecular Models at 50% CPK Scale Use a jig to cut out consistent amounts of polymer clay for making molecular models at 50% of the CPK scale. This means scaling down one Angstrom unit to 6.25 millimeters. To start, use 3mm thick polymer clay that will be glued in two layers. When you roll over the top with a rolling pin, it should leave exactly 6mm thick bed of clay to be cut along template markings.
