The Central Piedmont Community College campus, meticulously mapped by the innovative team at DroneScape, LLC. Strategically situated in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, this vibrant campus is a hub of activity and learning. With precision and skill, the DJI Inspire drone soared through the skies at a pace of 16 miles per hour, capturing one stunning shot every two seconds. The creation of this detailed map required a total of four batteries and an astonishing 700 high-definition 4K images. As it happens, the CPCC campus is located within Class B airspace, necessitating special clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Fortunately, DroneScape possesses the necessary exemption to operate within the CLT airspace, ensuring seamless execution of their aerial mapping project. The map was uploaded directly to Sketchfab using the intuitive Maps Made Easy platform and its seamless integration with the powerful Sketchfab API.
