I've been struggling to obtain a replacement CPAP inline filter due to the ongoing Corona crisis. Recently, I've been designing and fabricating face masks for 3D printing, so I figured these filters wouldn't be too far off from my current projects. I'm not suggesting they should replace official filters entirely, but with the right material, this may be a viable temporary solution until the delayed shipment arrives. To create these makeshift filters, I've printed all components at a layer height of 0.1mm using 100% infill without supports. The parts fit together seamlessly and seem to function well so far. For now, I'm utilizing two layers of dust mask material cut to size, but I continue to experiment with different configurations. While this solution isn't perfect, it's a significant improvement over having no filter at all. Any feedback or suggestions are more than welcome.
