CPAP Hose Strain Relief Bracket
thingiverse
Many CPAP machines expect to be placed at a lower elevation than your bed, which can put excessive strain on the hose near its port if it's positioned on top of a dresser. This can cause damage to the cable. A specially designed bracket can hold the hose in place and reduce the strain on the hose near the port. This bracket is specifically designed to alleviate excessive strain on the hose near the port when using a CPAP machine at an elevated position, such as on top of a dresser. It does so by holding the hose securely in place. A recent design update has fixed a bug and allows users to control the height of the tube. This added feature provides greater flexibility and customization options for users. Another improvement has been made to the bolt handling system. Users can now specify the screw radius and the bolt height, giving them even more control over the design. This design includes a nut and bolt as primary components. It assumes that you will be placing a nut inside the bracket for a bolt to lock in against the surface you are mounting it to. The bolt diameter should match three quarters of the thickness specified (default is 2mm thickness). If you prioritize protecting the surface, consider using a flat, wide piece that can be screwed to the end of the bolt after it passes through the nut.
