CPAP Elbow

CPAP Elbow

I designed this adapter to redirect the airflow from my AirSense 10 CPAP machine, allowing it to exit sideways instead of straight out. To achieve this, I used a hose clip to reroute the tube around the side of the machine. With the right-angle exit in place, positioning the CPAP device becomes much more manageable in confined spaces: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3759686. This adapter consists of two parts: an elbow and a coupler. I crafted the elbow from standard PLA material, utilizing the Tinkercad parametric elbow tube shape specifically customized for CPAP machines with 22mm outer diameters to accommodate standard hoses. The elbow's interior features a standard 15mm inner diameter. For added flexibility, I created the coupler from TPU, which provides a more adaptive fit. If you prefer to use PLA instead, be aware that you might need to chamfer the interior of the coupler for a smooth connection with the other parts.
