CP33 Magazine Extension
prusaprinters

This is a magazine extension for the CP33. I designed it based off of Kel-Tec's proprietary magazine extension. It should function just as well as the proprietary version. This is the second version. It is slimmer, fits better, and has a stronger lip along with texture to enhance grip.

The guide rod is the only non-printable part of this. It is made from a 1/8" steel rod. Simply saw the rod to the approximate length of 6.5". Then place the rod into a drill and use some sand paper to put a chamfer on the end. Make sure it is less than 6.5", otherwise it will be too long and not allow more than one round in the magazine. If it is still too long, keep sanding until the magazine accepts more rounds.

Keep in mind that the steel rod needs to be AT LEAST 1/8". If it is not, then the hole it sits in within the guide rod baseplate will be too large and it will fall apart.

There may be some overhang where the magazine extension slides onto the original magazine. This may need to be filed down.

I would suggest only using supports on the build plate.

This is a work in progress. If it does not function properly, please let me know what the problem is. I have not had any problems printing it on an Ender 3 V2.
