CP215KOA Aeropod
thingiverse
This is a custom Aero Pod designed specifically for the CP215KOA frame. I created and thoroughly tested it for use on my unibody CP215, but it should also fit seamlessly with separate arms. The pod is engineered to accommodate the following hardware: A HS1177 FPV camera with a 2.1mm lens (17mm diameter) mounted at a 40° angle will fit perfectly. Other cameras with the same case form factor, such as the Foxeer HS1190 Arrow and Runcam Swift, should work without any issues. A 24mm high electronics stack measuring 36x36mm can be placed on top, leaving room for smaller components like RX/VTX. Conveniently, USB holes are situated on both sides of the pod. The TBS Unify VTX is supported, and its pigtail can be securely attached to the top of the Aero Pod. Other small pigtail VTXs, such as the ImmersionRC Tramp, should fit with ease. During testing, I successfully printed the Aero Pod in PLA, but installing the camera proved challenging due to the brittle nature of the material. It's likely that the pod will suffer damage upon its first serious crash. To prevent this, it's recommended to print the Aero Pod in flexible TPU, which will make it virtually indestructible.
