CP2102 TTL to USB Programmer Case
thingiverse
After printing out https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1557552, I encountered a problem with my CP2102 programmer from the same source - it wouldn't fit due to manufacturing variations. Moreover, I didn't have any M2 screws available. So, I decided to create my own from scratch in OpenSCAD. The new design would accommodate potential manufacturing defects and allow for a snug, snap-fit construction with clear viewing windows for pin labels on the bottom and LEDs on top. After numerous attempts - 38 versions later - I finally came up with a design that uses built-in pins in M3 sized holes instead of screws. The pins are slightly smaller than the holes to ensure a decent fit. *Update:* I've uploaded version 39, which might be helpful if you're experiencing a loose fit for your CP2102 programmer. This updated version features smaller pin tolerances for better alignment and an additional plate at the front of the bottom piece to level out the pins on the board's rear side.
