The mounting system included with the Coyote OYO driving assistant is only compatible with dashboard mounting, which can lead to some awkward situations when using it in public areas. In response, I developed a custom holder that allows users to discreetly position the device underneath their vehicle's central console while still maintaining an optimal view for the driver. This modified design utilizes two 30x10x3mm magnets in both the base unit and the holder to secure them firmly together, enabling rapid detachment with just a simple pull. This dual-magnet arrangement also provides added security if the OYO is unintentionally displaced by a passenger. The base component of this system can be affixed beneath the central console using a pad of adhesive foam for extra stability. Additionally, strategically positioned slots in the vertical section of the holder facilitate easy insertion of the OYO device by allowing some flexibility in its alignment.
