Cowl for Parkzone Mustang - Gunfighter
thingiverse
As a fairly rubbish pilot myself, I often end up wrecking the cowl of my Mustang, and I've had some issues finding replacements from my go-to suppliers lately, which is why I thought I'd give making my own a shot. Well, here are the results so far! They might not be perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but basically, they just slide right onto the foam nose of the Mustang. After gluing on the exhausts, you're good to go, without having to worry about blowing your bankroll on replacing a pricey part every other time you crash. Update - June 21st, 2019 Version 2 looks way nicer and is even rounder. **Important Instructions** I printed these out in three layers at a mere 10% infill (truth be told, it doesn't matter how much or little of the parts get filled in), using a super-low layer height of just 0.3mm. Please exercise some caution when handling your new part - it can be quite fragile, after all! Just bear in mind that this piece should withstand even a hard crash with ease once attached to the plane itself.
