Cowboy Bebop Wall Clock

Cowboy Bebop Wall Clock

myminifactory

This is a quick and easy wall clock featuring a silhouette of Spike from Cowboy Bebop. The image used to create the clock belongs to someone else, but I thought it looked cool and wanted to share it with others who might agree! This snap-together clock is printed in 6 separate pieces that fit together very tightly, so you'll want a well-calibrated printer to assemble this project without any issues. In my case, the pieces fit together okay, but took some gentle persuasion with a small hammer and a flat plate to get them lined up just right. Be careful not to apply too much force, as some of these parts are very thin and can break easily. Most of this clock is printed in PETG, but the red parts are made from PLA because that's all I have on hand. If you have PETG, I highly recommend using it for this project instead. You can buy the clock parts on Amazon for around $8 US. You'll need to glue the black Spike piece to the back plate where it sits, as it wants to push out at the bottom because there's nothing holding it down. In my case, I also glued the back plate to the ring it sits in, since it tends to pop out pretty easily. The red plate has a special key that fits into the black ring, so everything should assemble upright without any issues. You might need some supports on the inside of the red back plate where the keys are, but most of the rest can be printed without any extra help. That's about it! If you print this clock, let me know what you think and I'd love to hear your feedback so I can make my designs better in the future!
