Cowbell Clamp

Cowbell Clamp

thingiverse

Tyler A., a Drafting 12 student, devised a clamp for his drum kit to secure the cowbell. The design met expectations in terms of fit and mechanics, but concerns about breaking the plastic rod while playing led him to suggest an aluminum construction instead. He shared that creating this prototype was an excellent learning experience. They used Red PLA for printing and required support for clamp 2, bridging for the rotator piece. The nozzle temperature was set at 185°C, with a bed temperature of 0°C, and infill rates of 100% for the rod part and 50% for other parts, while shells were made in one for the rod and two for other parts. Other necessary components include three wing nuts and one 7mm diameter eyebolt, along with two 7mm diameter bolts.
