Cow magnet stud finder holder
thingiverse
I designed this holder specifically for a cow magnet that I use as a stud finder, check out the link below for its dimensions. The model can probably be resized using your slicer to fit any similar-sized magnet you have or find; just make it slightly smaller than your magnet so it fits snugly. Use TPU and it will create a good friction fit requiring some effort to remove. Adding a bit of super glue will give an even stronger hold, though it's probably not necessary. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001F0F5L8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you're curious about how a magnetic stud finder works, simply wave it across a wall and it will locate the screw/nail heads used to fasten drywall to studs. These finders are more reliable than electric ones, never need batteries, and are cheaper too. As a carpenter by trade, I've never seen an electric stud finder on a jobsite.
