Built in 1866, Cow Creek Mill thrived as a gristmill for nearly a century in Gloucester County, Virginia. The four-story building boasted two massive mill stones powered by a reliable water wheel system. However, the structure suffered significant damage from wind storms in 2018, losing its east and west walls along with portions of the roof. Fortunately, the owner remains committed to restoring the mill, which proudly stands as a one-of-a-kind monument to the county's industrial heritage. This model was crafted using advanced technology from DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone and powerful Agisoft Metashape photogrammetry software. (Model created by Ashley McCuistion, Digital Curator)
