Possible prehistoric carving found on moorland, approximately 200 meters west of the Cow and Calf Hotel, on Rombalds Moor in West Yorkshire. Discovered by Peter Butler during surveys conducted for the CSI: Rombalds Moor project, this small rock is designated as 'Cow and Calf 07' and located 10-15 meters north of 'Cow and Calf 04 & 05'. The team remains uncertain, noting: 'A single shallow cup-like depression measuring 0.08m in diameter can be found near the northern edge of the stone. A smaller depression with a 0.015m diameter is located towards the eastern edge of the stone. Whether the larger cup is man-made or naturally occurring is not entirely clear, but the presence of other definite carvings nearby makes it worth documenting.' ERA information can be found at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/details.jsf?eraId=2414. This 3D model was created from three stereo pairs captured by Dave Spencer (CSI team) in July 2013. The imagery is part of the HLF-funded CSI: Rombalds Moor / Watershed Landscape Project archive deposited with ERA/ADS.
