I'm afraid I couldn't print the protections correctly, so I drew another version, copied for its shape, and added two shapes on top. I made a horizontal cut in the plastic sheet (A4 for binding, the only availability in nearby stores) to insert it into the back shape and glue the two shapes together. The plastic sheet goes through the support and in the photos you will see that I cut the corner of the sheet to fold a small part to keep it in place.
