Mk 2 and 3 - Removing material, bringing sheet further around the side of the face Mk 4 - Increasing coverage using A4 sheet Mk 5 - Further reducing material, removing raised strap attachment to allow stacked prints Mk 6 - Halving the overall height, removing slots Mk 7.2 - Alternative fixing mechanism, shield held in by friction, reducing manufacturing time and issues with incorrectly punched holes in screen Mk 14 - Increasing all bands and slot thicknesses to reduce print fails, three slots functioning as a double-back style buckle for adjustable length elastic This protective face visor is designed to safeguard healthcare workers on the frontline while battling COVID-19. Healthcare workers are already running low on disposable face visors; with enough printers working to resupply them, we can save numerous lives. At FACTechnology, we have determined suitable sterilization methods that certain materials can withstand, as outlined in an attached document. This visor has been deemed suitable for use by the Imperial College Infection Prevention and Control team, field tested with the IC NHS trust, and at the NHS Nightingale, as well as several facilities near London. This design has been registered to prevent others from profiteering during the crisis; please print them to donate to your local hospitals, care homes, GP surgeries, postmen, delivery drivers, etc.
